Nordiq Canada & Biathlon Canada Nordic Distance Challenge!
Nordiq Canada and Biathlon Canada have joined forces to bring you another challenge this winter – track those skiing kilometers and compete with the Nordic Distance Challenge.
The Nordic Distance Challenge will track your total distance skied between January 11 – February 28, 2021. Enter your distance skied into Zone4 or sync your Strava account, and you’ll show up on the leaderboard to compare your effort to Nordiq Canada and Biathlon Canada members across the country!

Prizes will be given for participants on the Overall Leaderboard at weeks 3, 5 and 7. To be eligible for overall distance prizes participants must be using GPS devices to track their kilometers skied. Manual entry or “on your honour” entries will be tracked on leaderboards but won’t be eligible for prizes. To be eligible for weekly draw prizes – drawn each Monday – participants must have been active in the challenge during the 7 days prior.
After completing the registration process, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to make sure all your skis this winter count towards the challenge.If you are looking for something to engage the athletes (or yourself) then this could be for you. This challenge should complement the shooting and skiing skills challenges that are ongoing. Note: Nordic Distance Challenge will not be considered during team selections, it’ just for fun and could help motivate you to get those important kilometers in!
