Biathlon BC athletes represent Canada at the World Youth/Junior Biathlon Championships

Biathlon BC will be well represented at the 2021 World Youth and Junior Biathlon Championships, which will be held in Obertilliach Austria from February 24th -March 7th. The following athletes have been selected to represent Canada:

Youth Men: Liam Connon (Caledonia Nordics / Nordic Performance Development Centre)

Junior Women: 

Larissa Black (Sea-to-Sky Nordics / BATC/Alberta World Cup Academy)

Gillian Gowling (Sea-to-Sky Nordics / BATC/Alberta World Cup Academy)

Benita Peiffer (Sea-to-Sky Nordics / BATC/Alberta World Cup Academy)

Junior Men: Ryan Elden (Cariboo Ski touring Club / Whistler Nordic Development Centre)

Provincial Head Coach Jessica Blenkarn will be the Head coach for the World Youth/Junior Biathlon Championships!

The above named athletes, along with Sarah Beaudry were also recipients of Biathlon BC’s $1,550 International Tour Grant Awards.
