Save the Date – Pre-Nationals Camp – Feb. 18-21, 2021

Biathlon BC is organizing a pre-nationals camp at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club in Prince George.

The purpose of this camp is to prepare BC athletes, coaches and clubs for the 2022 Canadian Biathlon Championships in March, and to provide club coaches and support staff and the BiBC Provincial Head Coach with an opportunity to collaborate and develop competition support systems prior to nationals.

The camp will run from Friday morning (February 18) to Monday at noon (February 21). It will include several time trials and sessions on ski testing, course segmentation, and race planning led by the BiBC Provincial Head Coach, as well as coaches meetings.

This camp is open to athletes, coaches and support staff who will be attending the 2022 Canadian Biathlon Championships, including Masters. You must intend on going to Nationals to come to this camp.

BiBC will not be providing direct coaching support to athletes for this camp. Clubs and their athletes must have their own coaches and team support as if this were a BC Cup.

More details will be announced shortly including recommendations for accommodations and meals, and there will be a nominal training fee to cover some of the trail pass and range pass costs.
