Coaches Week
September 17 – 25, 2016
Coaches Week features workshops and clinics specially designed for coaches, parents and recreation leaders. PacificSport Vancouver Island is proud to provide affordable education opportunities within National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). It is our way of saying #ThanksCoach.

All NCCP Coaches Week courses are reduced to $10 per course as part of the National Coaches Week initiative.  The dollars collected are dispersed back into the community via coaching grants.  Coaches who complete NCCP training during Coaches Week are eligible to apply for a grants to be awarded early 2017

FREE #ThanksCoach Breakfast &
Sport Event Hosting Session
Saturday September 17
9:00am – 10:30am
Join us for a FREE breakfast to celebrate Coaches Week, hosted by the Nanaimo Hospitality Association. Coaches, sport administrators and volunteers who make sport possible are invited to attend.  During the #ThanksCoach breakfast PacificSport will share some inside tips about hosting sport events.  In addition, both the Nanaimo Hospitality Association and Tourism Nanaimo will be on-hand to provide information about how to access their sport hosting grants and funds for capital upgrades to sport infrastructure and facilities.   Network with other sport professionals and learn from our panel of veterans on the Coaches Panel.  There will be some great door prizes as well!

This session will preceed the NCCP Competition Introduction Course – Making Ethical Decisions and it is possible to attend both.
