Biathlon Canada Annual Awards

Congratulations to the following Biathlon BC Members for their hard work and dedication in supporting and growing the sport biathlon. As a result of their contribution, the following members have been recipients of Biathlon Canada Annual Awards.

Coach of the Year Award

Presenting, through example, a positive image of coaching, demonstrating concern for all-around development of the athlete, espousing a philosophy of fair play, and the ability to apply relevant training theory and coaching techniques to improve the athletic performance of a team or individual.

Athlete of the Year Award

Demonstrating, by example a positive image as an athlete and being a good ambassador for the sport of Biathlon. Demonstrating personal achievement and excellence.

The Ruedi Setz Memorial Award

This award is presented annually to the individual who has made a significant contribution to Biathlon Canada in the past year.
